Aarhus, DK
It’s time for a throwback to another one of Denmark’s beautiful cities, Aarhus! This is actually the second largest city in Denmark and it’s a big university centre and a seaport, but it also has a lot of history and a lot of quality public spaces. All of these make the perfect recipe for a cool city break for us! The places which you really have to see are: ARoS Aarhus Art Museum which has a beautiful panorama over the city and whenever you go there, you will always find some amazing art exhibitions; then you should visit Den Gamle By – The Old Town Museum, which is an open air urban museum which showcase Denmark throught history, since the XVI century until present, everything in human scale, it’s like walking in a mini-town museum-ish. Well, you have to go there to understand it haha; last but not least, the seaside is fabulous, it really deserves a walk, also try reaching the parks too and be aware of their living homes, they have some amazing and interesing houses along the beach (if you are an architecture maniac like us, you will imagine living in every single one of them). And because we were in Denmark, of course we have to mention their perfect public transportation which takes you from here to there exactly on time; but most importantly let’s not forget you have to rent a bike and ride through the city, so you can be cool as them and be part of the city life! Take a look!
